The laboratory technician supports the Metrological Laboratory Manager in managing activities: moving instruments to and from external areas; updating laboratory records. Based on the professional figure and the degree of autonomy achieved, it carries out calibrations and metrological confirmations. The laboratory technician figure will be included as a INTERN.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the metrological laboratory manager in the management of all instruments (primary and secondary) and equipment (laboratory and/or secondary) to support work activities.
- Supports the metrological laboratory manager in establishing the calibration intervals of the instrumentation; managing the schedule and sending the instruments to external control/calibration laboratories.
- Performs checks on instruments subjected to periodic checks.
- Performs calibrations and metrological confirmations on company laboratory instrumentation and updates the related documentation.
- Performs compliance checks upon arrival of the instruments in the metrological laboratory.
- Supports the metrological laboratory manager in managing the instrumentation warehouse.
- Supports the metrological laboratory manager in organizing and preparing the assignment of the tools necessary for the work orders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, physics and mechanical engineering;
- Excellent use of the PC, in particular the Office package;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Predisposition for manual work;
